Somalia: Two slaughtered young men found in Hiran region

June 4, 2018 (Hornnews24) – Residents of Bulo Burde town of Hiran Province in the central regions of Somalia have found the bodies of two young men who were slaughtered.

The commissioner of the town, Abdirahman Dahir Gureh, accused Alshabaab Islamic fighters of carrying out the killing while tribal elders contradicted him saying that the murder was apparently related to tribal vengeance.

However, since the slain victims were soldiers of the Somali federal government, it was therefore likely that the Al-Qaida-linked group was behind atrocity. Unconfrimed reports say that Alshabaab has claimed responsibility for the slaying.
