Somalia: National security conference winds up

Baydhabo, June 6, 2018 – A national security conference which brought together the leaders of the Somali Federal government and the regional autonomous states has come to an end in Bai regional capital Baido after three days of discussions.

The meeting chaired by the Somali president, Mohamed Abdullaahi Farmajo, discussed at lengthy issues relating to national security, economy, power sharing and others.

The meeting unanimously agreed that the nationhood and the sovereignty of Somalia sacred and should be preserved and to join hands to combat against anything detrimental to the country’s security and stability.
