Somali president secretly monitored ousted Prime minister

Mogadishu, July 31, 2020 (hornnews24) – Confidential sources reveal that the head of the Somali national security agency has been facilitating for president Farmajo of Somalia to monitor the phone calls and private conversations of the ousted Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayreh.

Somali national security Agency has installed secret monitoring devices in the office, home, phones and cars of the prime minister with the help of Qatari company to enable Somali president to secretly listening to the telephone conversations of his prime minister and that lead finally to the dismissal of the prime minister Hassan Ali Khayre who was axed in no-confidence vote.

Shortly before his ouster, the office of the Somali president has confiscated all the essential documents and recordings of the prime minister’s office.

A whopping 170 of parliament’s 178 MPs backed the no confidence motion, and Khaireh’s ouster was immediately endorsed by President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, who had appointed him as prime minister in February 2017.

Khayreh was accused of failing to prepare a clear plan that paves the way for one-person-one-vote elections in 2021.
