Kenyan air strikes have wounded women and children in Somalia

Kismaio, June 17, 2018 ( – Kenyan fighter jets have conducted today on Sunday air strikes in South West Somalia particularly in Ghedo region wounding at least five civilians mostly women and children.

According to local medical sources, the wounded civilians are currently being treated in El-adde clinic. Two of them are in a critical situation.

Five years ago, Kenyan troops crossed the Somali border to root out al-Shabab fighters.  Since then, Kenya has increased its air raids inside Somalia. Al-Shabab continues likewise to sow chaos in Kenya killing scores of Kenyan soldiers in ambushes.

The Kenyan war planes bombardedlast night and early hours of today targets at El Addeh settlement and at Hareeri Tur village of the Ghedo province.

Neither Kenya nor the Somali government have commented on the barbaric air raids of the Kenyan government.
